Social Media Management, Graphic Design, Content Planning & Strategy, Copy

As a Social Media Intern at optiMize, one of the country's top entrepreneurship organizations, I manage its transfer-student-led subsidiary, aMplify. I  develop content calendars, generating compelling copy, and moving the focus from infographics to dynamic content. I create reels, event recaps, and interactive carousels to promote our programs and increase participation.

CHALLENGE:

aMplify's Instagram presence faced challenges due to inconsistent branding, irregular posting schedules, and visuals that lacked cohesion in the feed. These issues resulted in a less unified user experience, hindering the ability to effectively engage and connect with key stakeholders, including students, donors, and challenge participants.

STRATEGY:

My strategy for boosting engagement centered on transitioning to more organic content that highlighted the personal stories and experiences of students involved in the organization. This approach incorporated more visuals of individuals, dynamic videography, eye-catching graphic design, and a distinct sense of personality, creating a more relatable and engaging feed.
